Mistakes
In this section I’ll post all the factual errors in my posts (not grammatical or spelling mistakes, or broken links).
Let me know if you see something that should be added to the list.
01/10/2022. In When psychotic symptoms are not psychosis, I wrote, ‘Neurodevelopmental disorders like autism or learning disabilities can result in auditory hallucinations too.’ Dr Jennifer Mutch a Specialist Registrar in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability in Edinburgh, pointed out that this is only the case for autism, not for patients with learning disabilities. I’ve corrected the post.
03/06/2024. In Psychedelics will not solve the mental health crisis I insinuated that an open label non-controlled trial (case series) was only published in JAMA Psychiatry because it had ‘psilocybin’ in the title. Vince pointed out that actually this journal does publish similar studies for other treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation.
